White Tiger

The White Tiger is a rare genetic variant of the Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris), known for its stunning white coat with black stripes and piercing blue eyes. These tigers are not a separate species but a result of a recessive gene that occasionally appears in wild populations, primarily in India.

White tigers are powerful predators, capable of taking down prey much larger than themselves, including deer and wild boars. In captivity, they are often seen as symbols of beauty and strength, though their rarity in the wild has led to concerns about inbreeding. Conservation of their natural habitats is vital for the survival of tigers as a whole.
